  • Yjed: The online store, the official application, and its website with the domain (https://yjed.sa/), which is owned by Yjed Information Technology.
  • The Company: Yjed Information Technology Company with one person, under Commercial Registration No. 4030505159.

  • Terms and Conditions of Use: These are the terms and conditions specific to Yjed.
  • User: Means the customer, buyer, or consumer, whether a natural or legal person, whether he created an account through the site (just a viewer), who viewed any of the services or products available on the Yjed online store or was able to access and shop from Yjed.
  • Third Party Service Provider: By providing payment, shipping, delivery, and other solutions.
  • Usage: Browsing Yjed and viewing any of the products available on Yjed, accessing and personal shopping from it, or communicating with us for any reason.

  • By visiting https://yjed.sa/ or just by providing us with your information as a user, or contacting us by phone, by e-mail, or through any other method of communication, you as a user express your acceptance and consent to the collection, storage and operation of your information, as listed in this Privacy Policy.

Data Management

User information collected by us - Yjed and owned by - Company / Yjed Information Technology with its registered address in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - is stored in a central cloud database, hosted by parties contracted with Alibaba Cloud - based in Riyadh.

Data Collection Mechanism

Yjed obtains and collects personal information, or any other information of the user, in the following cases:

  • When creating an account at https://yjed.sa/.
  • When you start using the services and what is provided by https://yjed.sa/.
  • When participating in competitions, questionnaires and polls - if any.
  • When calling, browsing or visiting https://yjed.sa/.
  • When taking advantage of the services provided, and everything related to them (e.g., the shopping process, the selected products, the geographical location).
  • Through the data that measured the rate of your visit to Yjed, as a study of the most active times and sites, through the use of cookies.

Protecting and Non-Disclosing of Data

Yjed will maintain the confidentiality and privacy of your information and data as a user, and this data and information will not be used or disclosed to third parties; Except to the extent of the following cases, which you have agreed upon upon your use of Yjed:

  • Information disclosed in connection with commercial transactions:
    • Information we obtain from a user, including personal information, is a business asset. If the owner of Yjed undergoes any acquisition, merger, or sale of assets with any third party, then Yjed may disclose some or all of a user's personal information, or transfer its ownership to a third party. In the event that this happens, the user will be given an opportunity (30) days to refuse such disclosure or transfer of ownership by canceling his account.
    • Information relating to Yjed's business or affairs, current or future services, trade secrets, Yjed's workforce and users, or any other information, or information that may be viewed as confidential or of value to Yjed's competitors, shall be treated as confidential. This excludes information that is publicly available, or that becomes known to the general public.
  • We operate, record and store information in accordance with applicable legislation, and use technological and security measures (electronic, physical and procedural) in order to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of users' information. These measures include maintaining a specific encryption system, intrusion detection, and providing special software to fight viruses.
  • Yjed has the right to keep your data and information even after you log out, in the presence of an active account and with the purpose to keep it. Data may be retained until after your account is permanently closed if there are legal reasons for that.

  • Yjed assumes no responsibility in connection with any transaction made towards your information and data as a user or any use thereof by third parties, to whom you have provided your information and data, during or after your use of Yjed.
  • Yjed may include links to other websites, applications or programs or a link to any external service provider, for which Yjed has no responsibility, and it is the user’s sole responsibility. We advise you to read and understand the privacy policy of each of these websites, applications or other programs.

Intellectual Property

The copyright and intellectual property rights of Yjed Information Technology and its website belong to the company and its owners, or to any of Yjed's licensors or contractors with Yjed. It is prohibited to use or publish it without any prior written consent of Yjed, and it is not allowed to reproduce any part of Yjed, without the prior written permission of Yjed.

User’s Behavior

As a user, you undertake to use Yjed in an appropriate manner and in compliance with the regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You undertake that your use will not in any way be discriminatory, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, incitement to hatred and racism, a violation of confidentiality and privacy, or anything that causes inconvenience to others. Your use is considered harmful by its nature if it includes: computer viruses, damaged data, and other programs that are expected to cause damage. We will cooperate with the concerned authorities regarding anyone who has done so in connection with Yjed, and we reserve the right to disable any user on the basis of offensive behavior or inconsistency with Yjed's privacy policy.

General Conditions

  • Yjed has the right to modify all or part of the Privacy Policy, with at least seven (7) days notice via email or user account. Amendments shall become effective immediately upon their publication on Yjed.
  • Yjed has the right to prevent the user from using it at any time in the event that there are reasons that require that, including the user’s violation of any terms.
  • In the event that any provision of the “Privacy Policy” is illegal, void or unenforceable, this clause shall be deemed not to be part of the “Privacy Policy”, without any effect on the rest of the clauses.
  • The User agrees to indemnify Yjed from all claims, liabilities, and expenses arising out of the violation of Yjed's rights.
  • The limit of liability against Yjed is limited to an amount of (2,000) Saudi Riyals, and shall not exceed this amount in any circumstances.
  • Parental Care: Those authorized may request access to the personal information of whoever is under their care to amend/delete it by contacting us. We will do our best without guarantee.
  • Age Restriction: Services are valid for persons over 18. Parents must supervise minors. We will delete any account of any child under 13 immediately upon learning of this.
  • This privacy policy is complementary to the Terms and Conditions.
